Upload your CSV. A column-mapping screen lets you match your own spreadsheet's headers to the fields Capability Modeler understands — you don't need to reformat anything first, and only a number and a label are required to get started.
Arrange & Refine
Click Auto Layout to arrange every group and capability into a clean grid automatically. Drag anything by hand if you want a different arrangement — it snaps back into an even grid the moment you click away. Add maturity scores and link capabilities to strategic initiatives whenever you're ready.
Export
Export to PowerPoint and get real, native shapes — every box is an individually selectable object you can recolor, resize, or annotate inside your own slide templates, not a flattened image pasted onto a slide.
What Goes In, and What Comes Out
This is a real sample file — the same format Capability Modeler's importer accepts — and an actual PowerPoint slide it produced from a model, open and editable in PowerPoint.
Input: a capability spreadsheet
The first few rows of a real sample CSV (synthetic data — no real organization or
person). A number ending in .0 becomes a group; the rows under it become
capabilities in that group.
